First of all, you may think, Is this for real? Can I love myself ? or I can only get love form someone else? Well, we have only seen or taught about the love we get from others or from our special person. But before that the most crucial thing on this planet is to first love yourself and YES, it is possible.

Here’s how?

Self Love :

Self love is paramount. The first step towards your own growth. It is a state to appreciate yourself for each and every task, action you perform, it does not matter what type of activity you are doing, but make sure the task interests you and you would really feel happy once done. Self love is taking care of yourself first as you are the person who is most important to you. You first have to love yourself to allow others to love, do not sacrifice your well being to please others. You are your own priority and then comes the rest.

Let go of expectations :

Consider if you did some good deeds and expecting something in return. If you are this kind of person, you would always end up getting hurt because you are expecting something in return. This is not a barter system, isn’t it? So, do good but do not ever expect anything in return. This way even though you did a good deed, you are satisfied with the fact that this happened for good and content.

Karm karte raho, fal ki chita maat karo.

Don’t expect anything, rather accept by accepting the very idea that we need to be thankful for what we have, and then we will end up having more. But concentrating only on what we don’t have, we will never ever have enough

Enjoy Solitude:

Research shows that people who like spending time alone, and are unafraid of being single, are especially unlikely to be neurotic. This will help you to analyse, understand yourself.

Self Talk:

When you are alone, you tend to talk to yourself. So, give yourself sometime and have a talk with your inner self. I bet you would interpret a lot of your unanswered questions. It is kind of inner talk. By using more positive self-talk, you are more likely to build confidence and self-esteem, feel more in control of events in your life, and achieve your goals.

Be active:

By active I meant be physically fit. Either you do to gym, or do yoga, or trekking, go for a run, or any other sort of physical activity. It stimulates the production of endorphins, chemicals in the brain that are the body’s natural painkillers and mood elevators. It also reduces your perception of pain and most importantly improves your self esteem.

These are a few which are really pivitol to follow day in and day out. Once you because habitual about the above characteristics, you would experience a change, first of all , within you, and secondly around you which is a GREAT ACHIEVEMENT.

Follow this, feel this and share your thoughts on this.

Till then, happy reading!!!
