Do we really own our own MIND?

Well, you would think so but this is not the case. Let me help you understand this by asking a few simple questions:

Do you fear being Judged?

Do you get panicked easily in a Stressful Situation?

Do you overthink and is afraid of being interpreted wrongly about your thoughts and views?

If the answers to all the above questions is a Big Yes, then you DO NOT Own your Mind! But there is nothing bad in this, we as a human being have the unwritten law hardwired in our brain to be unaware of nonmaterialistic things and give precedence to the materialistic ones which in reality does not matter to that extent. And the Good news is Every human being on this planet in some way or the other is Mindful of things but those things are so so buried under this materialistic and social world we don’t bother to dig that hole and bring those back to face the truth and accept the reality which they in their deep deep down heart already knows.

You can try and help yourself with a couple of below things to get hold of your super fast running mind in this super-competitive world which is the need of the hour!

Easy Steps to Trick your Mind follow you

  1. Mindful Breathe: Breathe as you are chatting with your breath. Breathing will not only flush out the CO2 from your body but also relax your mind. It will indirectly take your attention to your body without really making you feel that you are doing it on purpose. In this way, you are allowing and taking the first step to control your mind again without letting it know that you are doing it. Just Inhale and exhale for 5 minutes or 10 minutes whatever suits you best.

2. Talk Good To Yourself: Spare some time and do self-talk. You can do this when you wake up, while you are bathing, or when you are in the toilet or thinking about your dreams or about your crush, girlfriend, or boyfriend. Talk about how you want things to be, how great it would be to be the most successful person or entrepreneur, how lucky I would be to win a million-dollar lottery, how happy I would be if my girlfriend or boyfriend proposed to me in a fairy tale manner, etc. Didn’t it give you a sense of good feeling when you were thinking about it? Similarly, if you will talk good about you to yourself, you will definitely feel good and eventually, if you follow the process rigorously you will get to know loads of good stuff about yourself. C’mon, who do you think knows you better than your own self? It is YOU. Am I wrong in saying that?

3. Be Attentive: This sounds like a Teacher asking her students to be attentive during class, isn’t it? Well, you can consider it the same thing, however, this time you have to be aware of your thoughts, your actions, your speech, your body language, what you are listening to, and of course the most important thing about how your mind is thinking and reacting to all these notions. Once you realize the reflex actions of your body and mind, you could master your actions which eventually will help you to be a prudent personality.
